I first tried this when I found out from my dermatologist that I have Rosacea. Originally, the sales person tried to get me to buy the entire UltraCalming line, but I was a bit apprehensive since I had never used it before, and it was kind of expensive. Not only was the kit a great way to become introduced to the Dermalogica line because it lasted me an entire month, but it also proved to me that it does produce amazing results. I have recommended this, and all of the other kits, to my friends and family since it is a comfortable and fairly low cost way to understanding exactly how wonderful Dermalogica is for your skin.

After trying several different products to help with my rosacea, I have found that Dermalogica to be the best so far. It does what it says it will do; calm the redness, smooths the skin and feels amazing! Thank you for the inexpensive trial...I will be buying a full size kit.

I bought this product to see which products from the Ultra Calming line that I would like to purchase full sizes of. This was a great way to try all of them in order to decide. These products, including the ones I am not going to buy full sizes of, are some of the best skincare products I have ever used. I am having major issues with my skin being stressed out, and as a result, my face is really red in certain areas. This is really helping to calm the redness.

The product itself is probably very good. However, the packaging does not allow for total use of the produce. Compared to other products overpriced.

For years I have struggled with an embarrasingly red face and purple pimples. This product not only has my face cleared up but also takes care of my moisturizing needs. I am completely satisfied with this line.

Apologies for the long review but I am so excited by this product (sounds sad but i'm sure anyone who has suffered with terrible skin would understand how it feels after years to finally have found a solution). I have only been using this product for the past 5 days and already the difference is amazing!
I have always suffered from terrible skin, acne in my teens and roscea as I've aged (I'm now 25). I have tried everything, different cleansers, creams/ointments prescribed to me by the doctors but nothing seemed to work. I've always had to try to hide my skin under layer upon layer of make up, which usually makes my bumpy skin look worse, but at least covered up the redness.
Then the other week I was getting nail extensions and got chatting to the lady about my skin and how I hated it and she pointed me in the direction of Dermologica Ultracalming so I bought this starter kit to see what it was like, and it is amazing! The cleanser, spray and barrier repair moisturizer all leave my skin feeling soft and moisturised without a trace of oil. I was so happy when I woke up the following morning after first using it and seeing that the redness in my face had faded and my skin wasn't oily as it usually is, it still felt smooth and velvety. And now after 5 days the redness on my cheeks and nose is so much better than it was and the lumps on my skin seem to have virtually dissapeared! Sure it hasn't completely gone, still have some red spots and a little bit of redness, but because the inflammation has gone down when I put on my make up my face finally looks smooth! And the best thing is how it has made me feel! After years of bullying over my skin and just feeling generally blurgh about it, I feel like I can hold my head up high! It has been a major confidence boost! Even my other half has commented on how good my skin looks and that I'm holding myself in a different way. So after 14+ years of trying to find a cleansing regime that works on my skin I think I have finally found it. I can't wait to see what it is like after a few weeks of using it, especially if these are the results after 5 days!
Would recommend this to anyone with problem skin. I thought nothing could be done about mine, wish I'd heard of dermologica sooner!

Having never had a serious problem with sensitive skin before when I started having tightness and itchiness last year I thought it was the winter weather, however it got worse and worse, regardless of what professional products I used. On recomenation i'v been trying the ultra calming range for 5 days and for the first time in 8 months i'm comfortable in my own skin again! Its wonderful, i'l be carrying on with this wonderful range, i particulary love the barrier cream which absorbs so well and leaves my skin feeling thoroughly moisturised.

I really enjoyed The Ultra Calm line. My skin is becoming more sensitive and sometimes even a little uncomfortable....Loved the Ultra Calming Relief mask as well as the Barrier Repair. My skin immediately felt less irritated. Excellent product!

I started using the Ultra Calm line by trying the kit, which lasted me a little over two weeks with using the products twice daily. I knew after just a few days of use that this was the skin care line for me. Most of my red spots are gone as I've continued to use the line for about 2 months now. The dry patches that had developed around my chin and nose and parts of my cheek and below my eyes this past year are gone! I have had little to no break outs AND I feel like I have the soft skin I used to have back in my early twenties (I'm in my thirties now.) I recommend this line for combination dry skin with occasional breakouts. This is a reasonable way to sample the line and decide which products work for you. I ordered the Calming Mist, Calming Serum and Barrier Repair and am using them daily. So glad to have skin I'm proud of again :)

I was despirate! My prescribed rosacea cream made my skin worse. I found this kit in my favorite salon and, since it let me sample 5 UltraCalming products at a reasonable cost, I decided to give it a try. I am so glad I did. The products have made such a difference. I especially love the feel of the Barrier Repair. Now I buy all the UltraCalming products straight from this site.

This kit it great! It cleanses well without irritating sensitive areas or drying other areas. None of the products feel oily or greasy. A little goes a long way for all of the products, especially the barrier repair. If I use too much, I will get little white pimples where I have applied too much. I still have redness and dryness on some areas, but overall my face has improved dramatically in about 7 to 10 days using this kit.

I bought this product because I have very sensitive skin that is prone to rashes. This is the only skincare system that I have ever used that really and truly calmed my skin. The redness and rashes were gone almost immediately, and my skin feels soft and looks great. I would highly recommend this product, especially for someone with sensitive, easily irritated skin.
