I am fair skinned & burn easily if I'm not covered in sun cream! I recently returned from Brazil where I used this every day. The protection was great & the cream did its job perfectly. My only criticism is it feels a little heavy & not as breathable as the other Dermalogica face sun creams I have used. It's not a negative per se, more just an observation & I do recommend this cream, and will continue to use it myself.

It has been quite a long process trying to find a SPF moisturizer that worked well with my skin type (combination). Most would cause me to break out or have very oily yet dry skin. I use this product daily, but I mix a very small amount with the active moist moisturizer. I feel that it works more as a moisturizer that way. However, when I do go to the beach, and I live in Florida, I use it just as it is. I recommend this product for anyone but if you have very oily skin then try mixing it with the active moist.

I find this product does not smooth over the skin easily and not sure why this product was recommended as a moisturizer. My skin is dry even after using this product. Very expensive and very disappointing.

Okay what you need to know is Dermalogica's skin products work and they work very well. I'm an Irish red head with fair and very sensitive skin entering peri-menopause and Dermalogica Ultra-Calming products are the only thing my skin will tolerate, seriously the only thing! So now I have a skin care line of products, ( I use the full line) that are actually helping my skin to heal. I can now actually be in the sun and/or wind if I want to go for a walk without my face going crazy afterwards. If you have sensitive skin you are now at the right place. Try it, you will be forever grateful. Angel 22
