I recently bought the primer and just like all Dermalogica products, it's amazing. It's nice to know that when I leave the house in the morning that my make-up will stay in place through-out the full day and well into the evening. But really for how much you spend compared to the amount of product you get really doesn't equal in my mind. I don't use a lot of the product, just enough to cover my face with a thin layer to hold my make-up in place, but I fell I will have to buy this product more often then I should for the price I have to pay. Wishing you got more for your money when it comes to this product, but if money doesn't matter then I would recommend this product.

WOW this product it AMAZING i've tried so may creams like this, from Clarins to Clinique and this by far is well worth the money, my skin looks in perfect condition and for the 1st time in my life my make up lasts in perfect condition for over 12 hours even after a busy day with kids. My Mum who is in her Mid 50's also totally rates this and wont go without it so this fits for all ages....Thank you for bringing this product out, a total life saver :)

A truly awesome product. I can honestly say I have never come across another product on the market that is comparable. Lightweight, sheer but luminous (without being sparkly), and it gave my skin a healthy glow without it ever being oily! I have this on for more than 12 hours on most days and never had a problem once. This is far better than the Sheer Tint SPF 20 I'm afraid. Yes, it is less coverage than the previously mentioned, but it is also a thousand times more superior in other ways! I haven't worn face powder or foundation in a month now and it is very liberating. Dermalogica, please do not change this product.

Good Primer but tinted is not for dark skin

I tried the tinted primer and it left a chalky residue on my face and it did not match my dark skin tone at all. I had planned to wear it alone without make-up for days when I'm out running, walking, running errands or for work. However, the product line does not have a range of tinted colors so it does not blend well with my dark skin complexion. Even tried to apply foundation over the primer, still didn't work because it left the light chalky appearance so I had to wash it off completely. Overall, the tinted primer is a good product, just that it is not for dark skin if you plan to wear it alone without make-up. Maybe the product pros will develop tinted primers for dark skin in the future.

This product is amazing!!! I normally find it hard to keep my makeup on all day and i have to keep blotting my face but i sure dont have to worry when i use this amazing primer! I have worn it on its own which is fantastic but i have also worn it under the new cover tint and sheer tint. It gives your skin a healthy glow..

I have tried to find a good primer... MAC, Bobbi, Urban Decay, Smashbox, you name it.
Finally a friend who is a makeup artist recommended this to me. I am obsessed! It makes my face look perfect before the foundation event gets there! HOW DOES IT DO THAT?! It keeps my VERY oily skin matte. It works well under my mineral powder foundation and my high-end liquid foundation. It is hands down the best primer I have come across, and the only primer I have been impressed with. LOVE LOVE LOVE

I recently bought and used your illuminating make-up prep alone for my engagement pictures and absolutely loved it! I do not use make-up and do not believe in it because I feel that it does nothing for your skin. The illuminating make-up prep is the best product ever. It looks like I am using makeup when in fact I am not. My skin is glowing and looks healthy. This product is absolutely amazing!

I read the reviews for the primer and was skeptical that it would be as good as all the raves. And guess what, I do love skinperfect primer. It really does help to perfect your skin as the perfect primer. It gives me a nice matte finish that doesn't feel greasy nor drying, and the pigment helps to even out my skin tone while letting my color still show through. I've found that it helps my makeup to stay on all day when it would typically start to slide off my face because of my oily T-zone, especially in the hot summer. I don't have to worry about streaking or anything. AND it does seem to have positive effects on my skin instead of it being a layer that's bad for my skin. Even if I forget to remove my makeup at the end of the day I feel like the primer shields my skin from the bad effects of keeping makeup on for too long. It's true that a little goes a long way, and you can wear it on its own and it's still great. I really do LOVE this product. thank you Dermalogica for creating this!

I don't wear much makeup and was looking for Active Moist with SPF in it but there is no such thing.
Fortunately, my Esthetician knows her products and recommended I try this Primer. I was a bit skeptical at first - I'm in my late 20's and felt that "Age Smart" was for the more mature ladies out there - no offense! We'll I was wrong - and I'm hooked!
A little goes a long way with this product. When you squeeze it out of the tube - it looks like chocolate mousse and has a light and airy consistency. My skin tone is fair/medium and I swear the primer color blends into the skin as I apply. Dab a few drops on main areas of face - forehead, nose, cheeks, chin and blend with finger tips. What was intended to be added SPF coverage is now my daily - foundation/concealer. On days I feel like sprucing up the makeup I simply apply loose powder over the primer before adding blush.
In a nut shell - SPF coverage + concealer/foundation + anti-aging protection = AWESOMENESS!

This is the only primer that does everything you need: 1. Holds make up in place (no smudge, smear, fade) all day. 2. Makes skin brighter, pores vanished and fine lines are gone. 3. Controls oil/shine all day. On top of that, SPF 30. Over promising? Sounds like it. Does it work? Better than you could ever imagine. This is worth every penny, because it does exactly what it says and a little bit does go a long way. You will get much more use (and joy) out of this primer than any other. I highly recommend you ask for a sample, and see how it works for yourself.

Dermalogica's new Skin Perfect Primer is over and above the best Primer out there. I've tried many of them and discarded all of them until Skin Perfect came along. In this long, hot summer this Primer not only has staying power but contains SPF also. I can use it alone or with Dermalogica's Treatment Foundation. I've recommended it to several people and they are all thrilled with the results. Dermalogica has again hit one out of the park!

I received this as a free gift. I wasn't quite sure what it was to be honest. I knew it was part of the age smart line, and although I wouldn't go as far as to say I'm ready to jump into the age smart line, I am ready to add this to my permanent face care regimen! When I first tried it I didn't want to stop. It is slightly tinted and its a soft, velvety consistency similar to the mattifier. After I put it on I was shocked at the difference in my skin. Because it was so smooth and slightly tinted it looked like I had just put on makeup! I now wear this religiously when I go to the lake or just out to the store quickly. I know it says its a primer, but I use it as an "all in one" product instead. PLUS, it is SPF30! I definitely recommend this one!

After finding out my grandmother had skin cancer on her face my whole family started really protecting our skin. I was in charge of picking out the best products! I quickly chose Dermalogica and we have stuck with it ever since. The SPF on this product is what drew me to it and I am glad it did. It may quite possibly save my families lives!

I received this product for a giveaway and I am so happy I did! I am outside a lot for work and hate using concealers and foundations since I sweat through them. I tried the skinperfect primer, feeling like I needed to add some sunscreen under my concealer but as soon as I put it on I didn't even need the concealer. It goes on SO smooth and makes my skin look so even! I really like how light it feels throughout the day and I don't sweat through it.

I cannot go without this exceptional product in my daily arsenal. Not only am I getting spf protection daily, but this primer has blurred fine lines, large pores and discoloration in a way that no order product has! I have oily skin, with large pores and tend to break out easily! Well, not with this miracle product! I don't even have to wear make-up with this - which is a huge plus for me, especially in the southern humidity. Thanks Dermalogica for another WINNER!!!

Last year I was diagnosed with Malignant Melanoma. Needless to say, I have become very intentional about protecting my skin. I realized I needed sunscreen on my face daily for protection. I already use other Dermalogica products, but discovered the Skinperfect Primer and decided to try it out. I was worried about a greasy, oily look and feel, but I smoothed it on and couldn't believe how light and velvety it felt. The slight tint helps even out my skin tone on those lazy days that I don't want to wear make-up, and provides an excellent primer on the days I do wear make-up. My make-up stays on longer, looks better throughout the day, and requires little touch-up. I don't look as oily by the afternoon, it's a nice matte finish and requires only a touch of powder midday to have it looking wonderful again. Now I have the SPF protection along with great looking make-up. Love it!

I cannot rave enough about this primer! I received a sample of this product from my salon. The first time I used it I have to say I did'nt think it would do much. The minute I applied it it was like a miracle. I have very large pores and super oily skin this is the ONLY product that helps diminish my pores completely and keep my oil at bay all day. I have so many compliments on my skin now it's amazing! I suggest this primer to everyone. It's my little miracle!
