Can't tell you how upset I am that the formulation of this has changed. As a person who burns whilst wearing factor 50 I understand how important SPF is BUT since the increase from the previous SPF15 the formulation is sticky, greasy and terrible for my skin (for me it causes break outs). The previous version was wonderful. I've even tried the sensitive version (SPF30) in a hope it would be different. Its not.
I will no longer be buying this product.

I have used the previous formulation for many years and loved it. The dark was a perfect colour which I recommended to many friends who also used it as a result. This new formulation is dreadful on my skin. The consistency is thick and sticky and dark is a shade of orange that defies description! Please bring back the original formulation which was the best tinted moisturiser ever!

Just sent an email to Dermalogica which mirrors several of the reviews read here; so prefer the old version and very much dislike this new version. Was SO happy to see that they are working on reformulating and possibly bringing back the old version. Thanks for listening Dermalogica!!! Think you can have it ready by next week??? :)

Extremely disappointed. It took me so long to find the gorgeous spf15 previous incarnation of moisture tint. The new version is dry, cakey and is clearly visible in my pores. I won't buy again . Please produce the former tint formula again.

I began using Sheer Tint SPF 15 about 2 years ago and it was like a godsend. My skin tone is quite uneven and I hate wearing foundation. Likewise, it is extremely sensitive - Aveda's tinted moisturiser gave me bumps all over my face! This product was the perfect. Even lovely color, very light, and made my skin look even and radiant. Was the most perfect natural look I've ever had!
And now this... why why why would Dermalogica change the formula?! Just makes no sense whatsoever. It's too heavy, feels like it comes off whenever I touch my skin, the colour (I use medium) is yellow and it's just really not good...
If anyone has a suggestion of alternative product, please let me know!
Dermalogica - any idea when you revamped formula will be available??

I never used the prior version but have to say I love this one. Just was that perfect dash of sheer color and not greasy. Skin looked flawless all day over 12hrs looked the same as I applied it that morning. Know you are working to revamp but please do not change this one, hope you can just have 2 version for people to pick from.

Used the sheer tint 15 for years- light, medium or a combination depending on season. Color & consistency was perfect and worked for my sensitive skin. This new formula is cakey, orange and unfortunately going in the trash. I'm looking for a new product. Please bring back the old formula.

The new Sheer Tint SPF20 combines color, hydration, UV protection and anti-aging benefits with natural mineral colors to deliver a more true shade, and the change in pigment also includes some adjustments in color shades. Like yourself, some have remarked that they prefer the original formulation, so we are in the process of reevaluating the tone palette and we are making adjustments to the product’s consistency. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused, and we assure you that our team is in the process of making this exciting new item more suitable for all skin tones and conditions.

Please keep selling the old version, I do not like this new product it is not an improvement and costs more! After using Dermalogica for over 10 years I may be now forced to switch brands. I am very disappointed

Please bring back the old Sheer Tint Moisture (Medium) and the old Treatment Foundation formulas!! I am very disappointed in the new products. The new ones are cakey and chalky, and the color is way off. The original formula for both of these products was creamy and left my skin with a radiant, dewy finish that lasted all day and I never had to wear anything over these products! The new formulas make my skin look dull and cracked within minutes of applying them. I've searched all over to find a site that sells the old product. Can anyone tell me where I can buy them? "SammyM": where did you find the old formula?? I have had to go to a completely new brand and until then I had used Dermalogica products only for all skin care for almost 10 years!!

I used sheer tint spf 15 (light) for the past eight years, it is a nightmare once dermalogica switched to the new formula spf 20. The old one is great and i have been a loyal fan until now. the new one make my face looks dull and yellow. Returned it and now i have to look for a new sheer tint. VERY SAD. bring back the old one, why changing to the worst?

While this moisturizer will not hide unsightly acne and/or other kinds of skin blemishes, as I've began to use only Dermalogica brand products on my face, it has made a complete change in the appearance and health of my skin. I noticed the reviews were low for this product, but I do no seem to have the same problems as some reviewers. It does provide good moisture with a slight color that doesn't clash with my natural skin tone. It is not made to be a full coverage foundation, so do not purchase it with such intention. Since my skin in now very healthy looking, I don't feel the need for so much coverage. This product is very nice for those wishing to go more natural, using less make up, and focusing on skin care.

Like so many others on here, I LOVED the SPF15 version. I didnt need to wear make up as it made my complexion look even and my skin looked radiant. I then bought this new version and was horrified at the difference. It is heavy and thick and does not even out the skin tone at all. My skin looks dull and tired and feels worse as the day goes on.
I very quickly found a site that is still selling the old version and have bought a years supply! I WILL NOT be buying this product again, and am very disappointed that something that was perfect has been meddled with! I would like to know why they have done it!

I loved the original (light) tinted moisturiser. It was super light, could be applied like a moisturiser, and just evened out my skin a tiny bit without ever looking like i had makeup on. Now it's ORANGE (I really have no idea how anyone could have thought this colour was comparable to the original light) and looks unnatural and makeup-ey - I have to check my jawline and blend thoroughly as if it was foundation. I loved it and now I hate it. My face right now is several shades darker than my neck. Please please please revise the colour palette at least. I don't know why I didn't test it at the shop - presumably because i've used this product for years and trusted that Dermalogica wouldn't adjust the colour. My mistake.

New Formula Goes on Orange, Turns Muddy. Yuk!

Bought the new Sheer Tint SPF20 in Light, the same shade I had bought in the SPF15 variety. Totally different color - very orange and horrible on my fair (but not super-fair) skin. It looks like a fake suntan, actually emphasizes my darker spots rather than evens my skin out, and it turns muddy as the day goes on. This color may be OK for people who have more yellow or brown tones to their skn, but for lighter skinned individuals with any pink in their complexion who relied on Light in the SPF 15, forget it. I have been a loyal user of Dermalogica facials and products for years - I cannot imagine how they could have used the same shade name, Light, to market so radically different a color and not realise how many customers would be misguided by this. Call this shade something else and add a new shade similar to the old Light which works with pink-toned complexions, or just reformulate the current one, Meantime, I have spent $$$ on a useless product and will be contacting Dermalogica to ask to exchange it for something else. Otherwise, I will be looking for another make-up brand. Too bad, as the consistency and coverage of the new product seems OK to me - but the color is gross.
