I absolutely love this product, it was my favourite from the mediBac adult acne kit. I use it on areas that are particularily congested like my nose and chin and then all over the face if I want a deep cleanse. I'd recommend this to anyone suffering with mild/moderate acne because it doesn't dry your skin out, its much more soothing than other masks I've tried. I've also blogged about it because I love it so much and will definitely re purchase the full sized product.

If I could give this product 6 stars, I would. I have never used a product before that actually showed me results as soon as I use it. I have tried almost EVERY skincare line available, and nothing compares to this. This product honestly changed my life. After cleansing (I use Clearing Skin Wash), I apply it. Immediately the product cools my skin. I let it sit for about 10 minutes before washing it off. After it comes off my skin is not red anymore and my face is not shiny. I follow up with Oil Control lotion. I am confident after I leave for the day that my skin will not be red, shiny, or oily ALL DAY! I can't thank you enough, DERMALOGICA!

Usually I'm not one to wear face masques. I don't like sitting around with gunk all over my face or being constantly tempted to see if the masque has dried yet, but I really don't mind with this masque. I find the slight smell to be pleasant (although I think some may disagree) and it doesn't get rock solid like most masks I wear. With the sebum masque, I didn't mind walking around looking like a ghost because this stuff works! It's almost as if I could feel all of the bad oil being drawn out of my skin. Afterwards, my skin has never felt smoother. I will definitely repurchase this when I run out (which will probably be a while because a little goes a long way with this product).

Love this for my skin that can get congested. It's not overpowering or drying, yet it gets the job done. Really feel like my pores get a deep cleansing with it.

I use this weekly in my facial routine that includes MediBac products. I have sensitive oily acne prone skin and this helps with all of it. It doesn't irritate my skin, yet gives my skin a deep thorough purging cleanse. I highly recommend it.

The first time I wore this masque I went downstairs where my dog was. He did not recognize me and nearly bit me! So I tried it again in the privacy of my bathroom and loved it! It really cleared up my breakouts and when I woke up the next morning my skin tone was even and not red! Also my oily skin was kept under control for a few days which I thought was a bonus! This is my miracle masque that I will never live without! I just have to warn my dog that I'm coming when I wear it!

My husband makes fun of me for my "face routine"... which includes a weekly Sebum Clearing Masque treatment... but I wouldn't change it up at all. After years of trying to "fix" my acne breakouts I decided to quite wasting money on "teen" brands that weren't meant for adult acne problems. I saw a Dermalogica Skin Therapist and she suggested a few products, sent me home with some samples and I immediately noticed a difference. I've been using the complete MediBac line for 2 years now and haven't had a complaint about it! How many "masques" have you bought at the grocery store that you were actually satisfied with? Most of the time they are dry, peely, painful masques that make my skin more red and irritated than it was to begin with! The Sebum Clearing Masque is actually quite gentle and leaves my skin feeling soft but tight, not dry.
I definitely recommend the Sebum Clearing Masque if you have problems with acne or breakouts, or even if you have an event coming up that you want to remain breakout free for!!

First time using. Skin feels smooth and refreshed! I have some irritated congestion (been squeezing my spots, naughty! :x) and it did not sting at all! not even tingle.. very gentle. If you do have a reaction it is likely to be from an allergy to an ingredient. Nice mask! Only thing is the price, when I have a bit more cash would definitely give the refiner mask, prep scrub and toner a go!

I was so excited about trying this product as i love the quality of dermalogica. However, when i applied it to my face it started to burn so i washed it off immediatley. I didnt think much of it and went to bed, but when i woke up in the morning my face was incredibly itchy, red, blotchy and my breakouts had flared up big time! I see that no-one else seems to have had this problem, i must have just had a reaction to it.

I love love love this masque! I have sensitive skin and am prone to horrible breakouts. I noticed a difference in my skin after the first time I used it and I was hooked! I use it every other night as part of my nightly face routine. It leaves your face feeling fresh. It is not very messy and you only leave it on up to 10 minutes.. Excellent product!!! =)

Unfortunately I could not use this product at all! I tried this mask when I purchased the mediBac clearing kit, but as soon as I put it on my face it started to burn and I had to wash it off immediately. Even then my face was sensitive and sore afterward. I see from the reviews no one else has had this problem but I could not recommend this product to anyone.

Easy to use, really nice-feeling clay masque. I use it just about three times a week in conjunction with the other products in the Medibac line and they have all done wonders for my skin.
Immediately after using the masque my skin looks brighter and healthier, Very gentle feeling but also very effective in helping breakout-prone skin.

This is a great skin clearing and oil reducing masque. I use this on my T zone once a week and it gives great results. My skin doesn't feel tight or dried out but instead feels oil free.

After going off my birth control, I couldn't stand my newly, oily skin. I decided to try this masque to help. I could see the oil being lifted when the masque was on; even on my breakouts. That being said, it doesn't clear your breakouts overnight (as some products promise to do), but I think it has helped my skin be less oily and has made the breakouts more managable.

The reason I am giving it 4 stars is because i am not sure how effective it is at fighting acne itself.
It is still a good clay mask. The first couple times i used it, i think my skin got a little irritated by it. I had some redness that caused my acne to look more inflamed.
But after continuing to use it, after i wash it off, my skin looks pretty uniform.
I also like to use it as a spot treatment when i forget to use my sulfur spot treatment. Because in my opinion it takes the sulfur ones a long time to dry (like mario badescu or kate somervilles). Some nights i forget to put it on and fall asleep. Im a light sleeper and usually wake up one time around 4. And when i remember i like to dab it on my pimple or affected area since i know itll dry fast.
Definitely worth checking out if you are on the edge, or looking for a new acne/oily skin mask.

You can really feel this stuff working the second you put it on! Its refreshing and it doesn't over dry either! My breakouts have drastically improved and it cuts through my oily skin leaving my skin feeling clean. I would recommend this to anyone!

The most refreshing, effective masque

Never before has a masque left my skin looking so even and purified while also feeling so smooth. After just ten minutes, I can wash and dry my face and LITERALLY see minimized blackheads. While it may not completely clear up a blemish overnight, it absolutely aids in the process. I love the cooling effect versus other masques that heat up your face-- this masque is gentle, yet unbelievably effective, and does NOT irritate your skin. I have suffered from acne for almost ten years and this, along with the other MediBac products, have calmed it down tremendously.
Making this a weekly or biweekly occasion will enhance your skin care system as well as give you a way to indulge and pamper yourself. I only use it at night, after cleansing. BUY THIS PRODUCT.
